How to Use Foxwell BT715 Analyzer to Test a Battery?
Hey guys today I’m gonna use the Foxwell BT715 Battery Analyzer to test a newly installed battery on a 1999 Corolla. Following I’ll show the steps.
Connect the Foxwell BT715’s cables to the battery terminals, you should hear a beep. The tool is power on, it means successful connection.
Select 12 volt system >> Regular >> In vehicle >> Top post >> Regular >> CCA
And enter the rated CCA, for this battery is 640 CCA.
It is processing, please wait...
As you can see, BT715 will tell about the battery information including volts, measured, rated, the battery is good.
Press “Enter” to starter test.
Start the engine to proceed with crank.
It is testing...It says the cranking is normal.
Press “Enter” to charging test, to check the alternator.
Follow the instructions on screen.
Press “Enter” as required.
It shows charging is “No problems”.
The result for this car’s battery, starter, alternator, are all normal!
Done!
Quite easy and fast to test a battery, with Foxwell BT715 Battery Tester, it helps me much with everyday work. Should be a must-have tool for mechanics.
